From Florence historic centre

From the centre of follow head south following blue or green and white signs for Siena. At Porta Romana (the curious statue of a woman with what appears to be a slab of stone on her head) take the first exit and up the hill passing through Galuzzo per 'La Certosa' a large walled monastery perched high up to the right.
Head across the junction to enter the FI-SI.
Follow the Firenze Siena road heading south towards Siena and Grosseto.
Take the 5th exit marked San Donato.
Turn to the left and follow the indications for San Donato, which you will reach after approximately 2 kilometers.  

From Florence airport

Leaving the airport turn right onto the A11.
Take the first exit to the right just after the service station following indications to Siena & Rome.
Enter the toll road taking a ticket entering the A1.
Stay in the left lane which after a sharp turn will head south.
Exit at Firenze-Impruneta.
Head across the junction to enter the FI-SI.
Follow the Firenze Siena road heading south towards Siena and Grosseto.
Take the 5th exit marked San Donato.
Turn to the left and follow the indications for San Donato, which you will reach after approximately 2 kilometers.

From Pisa airport

From the airport turn right onto the superstrada indicated for Firenze & Livorno.
Follow signs for Firenze.
Just before Florence exit to the right for Siena.
Enter the toll road taking a ticket entering the A1.
Stay in the left lane which after a sharp turn will head south.
Exit at Firenze-Impruneta.
Head across the junction to enter the FI-SI.
Follow the Firenze Siena road heading south towards Siena and Grosseto.
Take the 5th exit marked San Donato.
Turn to the left and follow the indications for San Donato, which you will reach after approximately 2 kilometers.

From Bologna city

Take the A1 autostrada going towards Rome and exit at Firenze-Impruneta.
Head across the junction to enter the FI-SI.
Follow the Firenze Siena road heading south towards Siena and Grosseto.
Take the 5th exit marked San Donato.
Turn to the left and follow the indications for San Donato, which you will reach after approximately 2 kilometers. 

From Rome city

Take the A1 autostrada towards Florence.
Exit at Firenze-Impruneta, turning right at the intersection, and get on the Firenze-Siena superstrada. (4 lanes) towards Siena.
Head across the junction to enter the FI-SI.
Follow the Firenze Siena road heading south towards Siena and Grosseto.
Take the 5th exit marked San Donato.
Turn to the left and follow the indications for San Donato, which you will reach after approximately 2 kilometers.

From Siena

Take the Siena-Firenze superstrada for Firenze-Impruneta.
Exit at San Donato and turn right following signs for San Donato in Poggio.
Turn to the left and follow the indications for San Donato, which you will reach after approximately 2 kilometers.
